Radial Joinery designed and built this bespoke utility room storage in North Hykeham, Lincoln to create a practical fitted layout that suits the client’s needs. Client Brief

The client wanted a fitted utility area with organised storage and space for everyday items. The design needed room for the washing machine, a pull-out laundry drawer, a tall cupboard and extra shelving.

We used the full height of the room to create more storage. The tall cupboard stores the ironing board, mop and cleaning items, while the lower cupboards and worktop provide useful space for daily use.

Construction and Materials

We made all units in our workshop using moisture resistant MDF for strength and stability. The doors were built in a simple framed style so the cupboards would match the rest of the house once painted.

The base unit includes a swing-out laundry drawer with extra storage below for washing products. Projects like this are often completed alongside our bespoke wardrobes in Lincoln and other fitted furniture where storage is made to suit the room instead of using standard sizes.
