Bespoke Mid Sleeper Bed with Storage in Grantham, Lincolnshire

We designed and built this bespoke mid sleeper bed with storage for a client in Grantham, Lincolnshire. The project included a raised bed, wardrobe space, shelving, a desk area and cupboards. Made to Fit the Room

The client needed more storage but did not want the bedroom to feel smaller. Because of this, we designed a mid sleeper bed with full storage below. This allowed the floor space to stay clear while still adding useful cupboard and wardrobe space.

We built all the furniture to the exact size of the room. As a result, every section fits properly and no space is wasted. Bespoke fitted furniture often works better than flat pack units, especially in smaller rooms.

Wardrobe, Desk and Shelving Below the Bed

Below the raised bed we fitted a wardrobe with a hanging rail and shelving. Next to this we built a desk with cupboard storage. In addition, we made a shelving unit that also works as the ladder to the bed. This keeps the layout simple while still giving safe access.

White Melamine Faced MDF Construction

We made the furniture from white melamine faced MDF. This material gives a clean and modern finish. It is also durable and easy to maintain.

All doors were fitted with soft close hinges. This improves the feel and helps reduce wear over time. Because the units were made in the workshop first, installation was quick and accurate. This also helps keep disruption in the house to a minimum.
