Bespoke Fitted Wardrobe with Shelving in Lincoln

Radial Joinery designed and built this bespoke fitted wardrobe in Lincoln to create a large open storage unit with shelving and hanging space. The customer wanted a full width wardrobe without doors, so the storage stays easy to reach while still looking fitted. Designed to Fit the Room

The bedroom had a chimney breast, so we had to design the wardrobe to suit the exact shape of the wall. We measured the space carefully and then planned a layout that uses the full width of the room.

Because we built the furniture to size, the finished wardrobe looks like part of the house. As a result, the room feels cleaner and more balanced. This is one of the main advantages of fitted wardrobes.

Open Wardrobe with Shelving and Hanging Rails

The client asked for an open wardrobe instead of doors. One side includes two hanging rails, so it gives double hanging space for clothes. The other side includes several shelves for folded items, shoes and storage boxes.

Made in Our Workshop

We made the wardrobe in our workshop before fitting it on site. This allows us to work more accurately and keep the finish clean. After that, we fitted the unit in place and fixed it securely to the wall so it looks fully built in.

We then applied a sprayed paint finish. Spray finishing gives a smooth surface and also helps the furniture last longer.
