Bespoke Home Office Bookcase in Lincoln

We designed, manufactured and fitted this bespoke home office bookcase for a property in Lincoln. The client wanted a clean, modern storage wall with fixed shelving and a fitted finish.

Built In Bookcase for a Home Office

The bookcase was made to fit the full width of the wall. We split the design into three equal sections, with fixed shelves set at even heights.

This gave the client practical open storage while keeping the layout balanced and simple. The design works well for books, files, display items and general home office storage.

Modern Painted Finish

We made the bookcase using Finsa Hidrofugo moisture resistant MDF with tulipwood framework. This gave the unit a strong and stable structure with a smooth painted finish.

We spray finished the bookcase in a colour matched to The Little Greene Paint Company’s James 108. The soft grey tone works well with the green walls and gives the room a calm, ordered feel.

Made to Measure Joinery

Purpose made joinery allows the bookcase to fit the space properly. It also gives a cleaner result than freestanding furniture, especially in a home office where storage needs to feel organised.
