From Apprentice to Joinery Manufacturer in Lincoln

Ian started in the joinery trade with a traditional apprenticeship and NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery. He then worked his way up in a local joinery company, moving from bench joiner to workshop foreman. During this time he produced bespoke joinery in Lincoln for many different projects.

He made windows, doors, staircases and custom joinery. He also fitted joinery on site. Many projects involved period properties, listed buildings and restoration work, so accuracy and traditional methods were essential.
