Sliding Wardrobe Doors in Digby, Lincolnshire

We designed and installed sliding wardrobe doors for a property in Digby, Lincolnshire. The client wanted a practical way to hide a boiler and airing cupboard while improving the finish of the room. Instead of using hinged doors, we built a pair of sliding wardrobe doors measuring approximately two metres square. This design saves space and allows easy access without blocking the room.

Custom Made Sliding Wardrobe Doors

We manufactured the doors using solid ash frames for strength and stability. We then fitted veneered ash panels so the grain runs evenly across the full width of the doors.

This gives a balanced and refined appearance while still providing long-term durability. Making the doors to the exact size allows a much better result than using standard wardrobe fittings.

Spray Finished for a Clean Modern Look

After installation, we spray finished the doors in a deep blue colour. Spray finishing creates a smooth surface and gives a professional finish without brush marks.

The painted finish highlights the ash grain while creating a strong modern feature within the room.

Space Saving Fitted Furniture

Sliding wardrobe doors work well where space is limited. Because the doors slide instead of opening outward, they allow better access without getting in the way of furniture.
