Bespoke Alcove Units in Carlton le Moreland

We made and supplied two bespoke alcove units for a property in Carlton le Moreland, Lincolnshire. The client wanted fitted storage that suited the room and worked neatly beside the fireplace.

Traditional Alcove Cupboards

The units included painted doors and face frames made from Tulip wood. We used oak veneered MDF for the cabinet interiors, which gave the inside of the cupboards a warm timber finish.

Each alcove unit included panelled doors, soft close hidden hinges and internal shelving. The design gave the room useful storage while keeping the look clean and traditional.

Made to Suit the Room

Alcove units work best when they fit the exact space. Therefore, we made these cupboards to suit the room proportions, skirting details and fireplace area.

The painted outer finish helped the units blend into the room. In contrast, the oak veneered interiors added a natural timber detail when the doors are open.

Bespoke Fitted Storage

Purpose made joinery is a good option when standard furniture does not fit properly. These alcove cupboards made better use of the space and gave the room a more finished feel.
