Bespoke Alcove Units and Floating Shelves in Broxholme Lincolnshire
We designed, manufactured and installed these bespoke alcove units and floating shelves for a client in Broxholme, Lincolnshire.
The customer wanted practical storage on both sides of the chimney breast while keeping the room looking clean, balanced and in keeping with the property.

Bespoke Alcove Units Around Existing Fireplace
We manufactured matching alcove base units to fit both sides of the fireplace precisely. Purpose-made alcove furniture makes better use of the available space while giving a cleaner finish than freestanding furniture.
The units were built with shaker style doors fitted with simple chrome pull knobs and soft close hinges for a clean and understated look.
Because the furniture was made to measure, the proportions and sizing could be tailored to suit the room properly.
Floating Shelves Above
Floating shelves were installed above both alcove units to provide additional storage and display space.
The shelves help keep the room feeling open while still adding practical everyday storage for books, decorations and personal items.

We supplied the alcove units and floating shelves in primer ready for the client’s decorator to complete the final hand painted finish on site.
This approach allows the final decorating finish to blend naturally with the walls, skirting boards and existing room details.
