Bespoke Alcove Storage Units in North Scarle

We designed, manufactured and fitted these bespoke alcove storage units for a property in North Scarle, Lincoln. The client wanted fitted storage either side of the fireplace that would improve the room layout while keeping a clean traditional appearance.

Made to Fit the Room

The project included two matching alcove units with lower cupboard storage and open shelving above. Fitted with hidden LED strip lighting to create a soft feature light around the inside edges of the units.

One side included a larger lower cabinet area designed to accommodate the television while still maintaining a balanced appearance across both alcoves.

Traditional Style with Modern Features

The units were manufactured from moisture resistant MDF and finished in a spray applied painted finish. Soft close hinges and simple chrome pull knobs were fitted to keep the design clean and understated.

Purpose made joinery like this allows the storage to look original to the property rather than added afterwards.

Integrated Lighting

We fitted into both shelving units with hidden vertical LED strip lighting that is dimmable from a remote control. This created a soft glow around the shelving while highlighting decorative items and improving the overall feel of the room.
