Bespoke Fitted TV Unit in Lincoln – Shaker Style Alcove Storage

We designed, made and installed this bespoke fitted TV unit for a property on Nettleham Road in Lincoln. The customer wanted a clean, built-in solution that improved storage while staying in keeping with the style of the house.

The unit was designed to fit neatly into the alcove space. As a result, it creates a balanced look while making full use of the available area.

Shaker Style Alcove TV Unit

This project consisted of two fitted cabinets, each with moulded shaker style doors and an adjustable internal shelf. We built the cabinets to suit the exact dimensions of the alcove, ensuring a precise fit and clean finish.

We also incorporated a reduced height skirting detail along the base. This small detail helps the unit blend with the existing room features and keeps everything in proportion.

Quality Materials and Spray Finish

We used oak veneered MDF for the internal sections and Medite moisture resistant MDF for the main structure. This combination provides durability while maintaining a high quality finish.

For the internals, we applied Osmo hardwax oil to protect the surfaces and enhance the natural look. We then spray finished the doors and top in a colour matched to Lick Greige 02, giving a smooth and consistent painted finish.

In addition, we fitted soft close hinges and bronze beehive style handles to complete the look.
