Overview

Bespoke Crittall Style Internal Doors in Digby, Lincoln

We designed, made and installed a bespoke pair of Crittall style internal doors at this property in Digby, Lincoln. The project also included forming a new door opening and fitting a purpose-made frame.

The customer wanted a clear separation between rooms while still allowing natural light to pass through. As a result, Crittall style doors were a good choice for the space.

Crittall Style Doors with Toughened Glass

The doors were made using Accoya, chosen for its stability and long-term performance. Each door was glazed with clear toughened glass to help maintain light flow between the rooms.

The slim black sections give the doors the Crittall style look, while the large glazed panels keep the space feeling open.

New Frame, Architraves and Spray Finish

We fitted a new softwood door frame into the existing opening. We also fitted torus architraves to both sides so the new joinery looked finished and in keeping with the surrounding room.

The doors were spray finished in black, while the frame and architraves were primed white. This contrast helps the doors stand out as a feature within the property.
