We designed, manufactured and installed these bespoke glazed pocket doors at this modern property in Heighington, Lincoln. The customer wanted a way to separate the two rooms while still keeping an open feel and allowing natural light to flow through the space.

Custom Pocket Door System in Heighington, Lincoln
The project involved creating a new dividing wall complete with a concealed pocket door system. When fully open, the doors slide neatly back into the wall cavity, allowing the rooms to feel open plan. When closed, the glazed doors provide separation while still maintaining visibility and natural light between the spaces.
The pocket doors were manufactured in tulipwood and designed to complement the style of the existing internal doors within the property. The customer wanted a clean and modern finish that looked original to the home rather than an obvious retrofit.
Glazed Internal Sliding Doors with Soft Sliding Action
The doors were fitted with laminated safety glass and installed using stainless steel top and bottom roller systems. With precision bearings for a smooth sliding action. Push-to-open mechanisms were also fitted so the doors could easily be pulled back out when fully recessed into the wall pocket.
Alongside the pocket doors, we also manufactured matching bespoke internal doors, understairs cupboard doors and airing cupboard doors to create a consistent finish throughout the property.
