Bespoke Glazed Internal Doors & Side Screens in North Hykeham, Lincoln
We manufactured and installed this bespoke pair of glazed internal doors with matching side screens at a property in North Hykeham, Lincoln.
The customer wanted a way to separate the kitchen and conservatory areas while still maintaining natural light. This project forms part of our bespoke timber doors in Lincoln service as well as our wider bespoke joinery services in Lincoln.
Bespoke Internal Doors with Matching Side Screens
The doors and side screens were manufactured in Tulipwood. With traditional lower timber panels and slim glazed upper sections to suit the style of the property.
Double Glazed Internal Doors
The upper glazed sections were fitted with 14mm toughened double glazed units to help improve separation between the rooms while still allowing light to pass through both spaces.
Draft seals were also incorporated into the doors to improve comfort between the kitchen and conservatory areas during colder months.
Traditional Joinery Details
The project included a solid Oak threshold along with brass ironmongery and parliament hinges. The doors were supplied with a primer finish ready for the customer’s decorator .
